What a consent record stores

• The full consent wording exactly as shown to you, plus its version number.
• What the consent covers: image, video, voice recording or brand asset.
• The account that gave it and the moment it was given.
• Where it was given in the app, your IP address and browser user agent.

Consent is given per upload, never once per account, and is written on our servers before the file is accepted into storage. The tick box in the app is only the prompt: without a matching server-side record, no upload link is issued at all.

Why records are kept after deletion

Consent records cannot be edited or deleted, including when the avatar, voice or file they relate to is removed. The record is the proof that permission existed for material that was processed at the time, which is what protects both you and anyone whose likeness or voice was used. When the related asset is deleted, the record is marked as relating to a deleted subject but the wording, version and timestamp stay intact.

Withdrawing consent

You can withdraw consent at any time by deleting the avatar, voice, clip or brand asset it relates to, or by asking us to do it through the contact form.

When consent is withdrawn we stop using that likeness, voice or asset, the stored file is removed from private storage, and it can no longer be selected for new videos. Videos you already generated and downloaded remain yours to manage — delete them in your library if you want them gone. The consent record itself is retained, marked as relating to a deleted subject, as described above.
